The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba has found RCMP officers were not at fault after a man died of an overdose while in custody. The man was arrested on Bracken Road in the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews early on Oct. 23, 2022 and placed in a cell at Selkirk’s RCMP detachment.
